Hi , thanks for doing this.
I flashed android_15 gsi from https://github.com/TrebleDroid/treble_experimentations/releases. Installed prebuilt ims.apk that you shared in one of the issue comments.

procedure: disable verification for vbmeta_product _vbmeta_system. flash system.img and magisk_patched_boot

issue : i installed apk and also options under phhtreble/ims under settings except " install ims apk for xxx"
rebooted several times.

  • but the incoming calls are not working i,e i dont see incoming call on screen.
  • outgoing calls are working. 4g is working and my network doesnt has 3g/2g.
  • volte/wifi_calling provision flag is diabled.

i did a experiment . i flashed my stock rom and disabled ims.apk (com.spreadtrum.ims) and all the above issues repeated on stock rom. So its the ims app issue. error i see is "ims service is not registered"

I tried fixing it. i extracted ims.apk from system.img and made a magisk module (noob) and flashed. The file got copied but still same issue. i tried installing it regualrly but it seems theres already an ims.apk hidden somewhere ( i was not able to find it but i see the missmatch sign error).

can you helpm me plz ? i love aosp roms and i spent years using it but this phones has zero development, took me days to unlock its bootloader. Stock rom is very very very bad, Thanks.

I've got similar issue on realme c53 and enabing ims on treble app everithing was ok

I am happy for you. Can you plz give link of rom and treble app you are using ? And is volte working ? Volte is must for people with jio.
What was the process you did ?
