Description

Reproduction steps

New Tapo devices now natively support Matter but the PIN code the app gives is 11 digits. The chip-tool command doesn't seem to like that many digits so errors.

  1. Run chip-tool discover commissionables and make sure the Tapo device shows up.
  2. Open Tapo app > [device] > setttings > Matter Setup Code
  3. Copy code to chip-tool argument so e.g. it's chip-tool pairing onnetwork-long 1 12345678901 3725
