I use kew in the XFCE4 Terminal's drop-down/guake mode, allowing for easy access and persistence without being in my way.

However, this layout is really tight for kew, and album art gets quite teeny-tiny:

If it were able to reflow the album art to the left or right and shift the Now Playing over a few colums, it could look really great and make better use of the space.

Yes, a landscape mode is needed.

Maybe if the window is twice as wide as tall or something close to that, it automatically goes into landscape mode.

I suggest we start with the image on the left, the text on the right. Maybe have the last row below everything.
