yes but that doesn't depend on HFS, it depends on your network configuration.

For example, I run HFS on a computer that has no internet address of its own, there is a modem/router in between. So, I had to configure the modem/router to let the connection be "forwarded" to the right computer.

your PROJECT { HFS: HTTP File Server (version 3 } is awesome web interface and light, just need some extra feature for access anywhere on internet.

yes, I want to add some feature to help you configuring your router, like "upnp".
But even then, it may be easier, but it will still be a problem. HFS has almost no power over it. This is a common problem to all servers.
