To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Attach a gallery with at least one landscape and one portrait image to a scene
  2. Attach at least one additional gallery to that scene
  3. Use the preview scrubber for the first gallery. When the preview changes from portrait to landscape, the element resizes and you lose your preview.

Notes
A fix would ideally retain the element resizing for galleries containing portrait images because it looks quite nice. If that's not possible, however, then the usability gain of changing to a static frame would probably outweigh the aesthetic hit.
