I first reported this issue in Discord, I'll be opening an issue here as well for better tracking. I'm not sure if this issue applies to other devices/situations, though..

i encountered an issue when i was testing lyncis using safari on a tether downgraded iphone 5. after it rebooted, i attempted to tether boot it but it gets stuck. i had to do the following to make it boot again:

  • move /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.saurik.Cydia.Startup.plist -> /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.saurik.Cydia.Startup.plist
  • move /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.mDNSResponder.plist -> /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.mDNSResponder.plist
