Hi again

Loving SR! i cant code but i would like to contribute to SR in other ways if you feel SR needs testing/documentation etc, please let me know!

a few small requests/questions

  1. REQUEST: if there is only 1 match left in fuzzy match- can SR auto select it (that is enter dir)? could that be an user defined option?

  2. how is checkpoint different from bookmarks? the documentation is sparse on this point, when I issue sr-restore-checkpoint I still get my normal Emacs bookmarks there as well

  3. for sr-show-files-info can the return info be in MB/GB (and not bytes :))

thx again! looking forward to further explore SR as i move over to using it full time!

Could 3) be resolved using "recommended for GNU" value for "Sr Listing Switches" in customize for sunrise?

Hi @zeltak, thanks for volunteering to help! I know you sent the request 4 years ago, but in case you are still interested, we could write an Emacs Info manual for the Sunrise Commander (info is the Emacs native documentation facility). It uses a markup language called TeXinfo that should be reasonably easy to write. We can probably get most of the material for the manual by copy-pasting from the Emacs Wiki page, the README and comments in the .el files.

It'll take us maintainers (@zonuexe and I) a while to get to your other questions, as we just got started working on Sunrise Commander and are not yet very familiar with the codebase ourselves. Our first priority is to get it packaged into MELPA and fix any show-stopper bugs. After that we'll have time to go through the entire issue list.
