Dired has this totally awesome command called wdired-change-to-wdired-mode. It enters a mode where you can edit the filenames in the dired buffer like they were lines of text, even using replace-string and probably even keyboard macros.

I think we should have a similar mode in Sunrise Commander. I don't know whether it's easier to adapt wdired-mode or write support from scratch.

There's already C-x C-q (sunrise-editable-pane).
