Hi Smealum,

I've got an issue with HANS while using Pokemon ROSA & XY
I tried to launch the game changing region mode (switch from EU - default - to JAP) in order to collect special japanese event.
The game launches perfectly well under HANS but when I go to
-> Mystery Gift -> REceive Gift -> Toggle ON communication -> Yes -> Get with code -> Warning about Battery Status -> Ok -> Connect to the Internet -> Ok

Here goes the trouble.

  • In Pokemon ROSA the game simply freezes ( homebrew channel and HANS version are the one in the starter pack provide on your github repos ) and no way to go back to the homebrew channel. Only long press on power button can solve the problem
  • In Pokemon XY, no freez noticed, but I got an error code:

" Error code: 002-0120

A more recent version of this software is necessary to use the online services.
Download the the updated version from Nintendo eShop or a compatible software "

The problem is that my games are already up to date and I download the update from eSHOP via the homebrew channel.

This error only occur for the JAP changes, I already manage to grab event pokemon from US region (switch from EU to USA).

Have you ever noticed this, and do you have any solution.

You can try yourself this issue by trying to get shiny legendary pokemon with the currently running event ( http://serebii.net/games/currentevents.shtml ).

Thanks for watching my long issue and thanks fo working so hard for the 3DS community.

PS: I am running a Nintendo 2DS under 9.4.0-19E firmware.
