What is the current behavior?
I am experiencing an issue with the Instant Veins 5.2 virtual machine. After successfully importing the Veins project into the OMNeT++ IDE, the project is lost after restarting the virtual machine. I have to manually re-import the project every time I restart the VM.
What is the expected behavior?
After importing the Veins project into OMNeT++ IDE within the virtual machine, the project should remain in the workspace even after restarting the VM, so that I don't need to manually re-import it every time.
What is the motivation / use case for changing the behavior?
It is inconvenient to manually re-import the project into OMNeT++ IDE after each restart of the virtual machine. Keeping the project in the workspace should improve the workflow and usability of the virtual machine setup.

In your description, please assume a freshly installed computer.
1、Download and import the official instant-veins-5.2-i1.ova virtual machine file into VMware Workstation.
2、Start the Instant Veins 5.2 virtual machine and install/configure OMNeT++ and the Veins project.
3、Import the Veins project into the OMNeT++ IDE and verify that it compiles and runs.
4、Shut down the virtual machine.
5、Restart the virtual machine and open OMNeT++ IDE.
6、The Veins project will no longer be in the workspace, requiring manual re-import every time.
System environment:
Operating System: Windows 11
Virtual machine used: instant-veins-5.2-i1.ova
Virtual machine software: VMware Workstation XX
OMNeT++ version: 5.7
Veins version: 5.2
