Hey, I’m Dorien 👋!

I’m a frontend engineer and queer tech enthusiast who’s passionate about accessible, privacy-respecting software. I enjoy thinking about and working many hours on the open source tool 🌀 Zotonic – a powerful, open-source CMS and web framework focused on speed, flexibility, and semantic content.

I’m also a teacher at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where I work with students in the Associate Degree Frontend Development & Design program. Together, we focus on building websites and platforms that are accessible, progressively enhanced, and genuinely enjoyable to use — for everyone.
