If you create a pack file >2GiB with go-git, git complains:

fatal: offset beyond end of pack index for ./objects/pack/pack-a9847f54c9994474dada80d688b84f377b3b50bd.pack (truncated index?)

Apparently the 64-bit offset section of the index is not being used.
