New releases?

This library looks great, but the Readme hasn't been updated for the last 2 years and there haven't been any new releases in even longer. It seems that the library is being maintained, but it's unclear how to actually use it. Too many dependencies have changed since the installation instructions were written to know whether it's worth actually trying to set this up.

So: is this library maintained? If so, are there plans to update the docs and cut a new release?
