Yes, my mistake. It is MacOS 15.3.1. BTW, I also found TexStudio ver 4.8.6 (MacOS, m1) to crash on my machine. It unexpectedly quit a few times, so I've reverted back to 4.8.4, which was the last version I was using. |

Environment
Expected behavior
An "X" appears on the left of each window tab when you mouse-over. Clicking here will close that window.
Actual behavior
The "X" does not appear. However if your mouse hovers over where it would appear, the tool-tip does show up, saying "Close Tab".
How to reproduce
Open a file in TexStudio. Move mouse to the tab at the top which contains the name of the file.
