We need a mapping to SEO, schema.org/event & schema.org/eventseries, GND Ontology, BIBO, FRAPO , WikiData scientific event & WikiData Conference Series, CrossRef (once the new schema is out), DataCite as well as FaBiO).

Regarding the mapping strategy the follwoing question remains:

  • whether to use a seperate RML file or SKOS (exact, broader & narrower match) annotations inside the source file via a direct import of a dedicated mapping module that might be managed using SSSOM?

I (@StroemPhi) need to learn both from scratch and I would thus rather opt for SSSOM as it's from the OBOverse and less complex.

Check the new mapping-set feature in ODK 1.4 to see how to use/provide a SSSOM maping. See also:
INCATools/ontology-development-kit#500 & https://github.com/INCATools/ontology-development-kit/blob/master/tests/test-sssom.yaml
