Yes. It's worth following this issue. In that issue, you can find my response. Basically, we understand the time is right to pursue updating the flag, but that there are some usability and logistical complexities that we want to try and get right as we do so. Usability-wise, we want to make sure that a more accurate flag actually does what we hope it will do: convey to visitors that it is an American flag and that folks are not further confused. And logistics-wise, we want to make sure that any change we make is something teams can easily update across the wide range of properties that use the current banner. |
