Sequence of actions:

  1. (Icon is greyed out and userscripts don't work)
  2. Try to open the extension menu when on a webpage

Problem:

No userscripts load or function, when checking the settings menu a red error shows up at the bottom of the screen
Ge@popup/index.js:1:18113, tapping the settings button makes the pop-up window close.

Expected result:

Userscripts working and the settings menu being accessible.

Environment:

  • OS: Android
  • Browser: Firefox Nightly 138.0a1
  • Violentmonkey Version: 2.30.0

Thanks. Looks like it removed chrome.contextualIdentities so browser detection fails.

Maybe it's https://bugzil.la/1951980. Can you try clearing the startup cache?

Anyway, I'll add a fallback for chrome.activityLog

Stay on FF137 for the time being, looking at past releases it might take a week or two before a new version is out
