Hello,

This idea was submitted by Christian, an active community member of Winding Tree

It should be possible to offset the carbon emissions when buying travel from Glider.
CO2 emission can be calculated from the trip itinerary + aircraft model.
CO2 compensation can be purchased from third-party services, but they need to be audited to ensure it is going to a legit project. Ideally this third party should be on Winding Tree marketplace.

At time of payment, it should be possible to tick a box to offset the emissions and the associated amount would be added to the total.
