I discovered that if you pass through gpu and set your CPU mode to custom aka define manually sockets, threads and cores and microarchitecture, Fortnite runs like a charm. Also Fortnite seemingly stopped using BattlEye which had more aggresive VM checks.BattlEye isn't even among the binaries in the game files anymore. EAC is more chill so you don't need any patches to run Fortnite. Just passthrough and the custom CPU profile.
Here is my config as reference, ask you can see I do nothing to hide the VM, it just works:
While this does work, unfortunately you will be banned in a few days time. Atleast this is what happened in my case.
I didnt get banned in a month of playing so I guess it depends what do you do. It's possiible that Epic wants people to run in VM under specific circuimstances in order to better understand cheaters who use VMs. For example in GooseGooseDuck, the anti cheat won't run.
And maybe depending on if you use debugging tools and what not they ban you. Maybe its waiting until I do something like open debugger or something else to then schedule me for a ban.
Uh oh!
