ACP acyl carrier protein, AT acyltransferase, CoL carboxylic acid:CoA ligase, DH ß-hydroxyacyl-thioester dehydratase, KR ß-ketoacyl-ACP reductase, KS ß-ketoacyl-ACP synthase, and TE thioesterase. The KR domain in black (module 9) is predicted to be inactive. The AT in module 7 (grey) is predicted to incorporate a propionate extender unit. Biosynthetic pathway for mycosamine is also included.
