“Locked” is a remake of a 2019 Spanish film, “4x4,” with screenwriter Michael Arlen Ross (“Turistas,” “The Throwaways”) attempting to bring a little North American energy to the thriller. It’s a story of imprisonment, as a young criminal unable to pull himself out of trouble elects to steal an unattended SUV, only to face a vehicle owner completely focused on making the intruder suffer for his crime.
