The Man-Eating Tree returns with a new line-up, a new album in spring 2025!
The atmospheric metal band from Oulu, Finland - founded in 2009 - The Man-Eating Tree is getting back into the swing of things after hibernating for several years.
The crew has undergone big changes since the last album released in 2015, and currently the band members are:
Manne Ikonen, vocals (ex-Ghost Brigade)
Janne Markus, guitar, vocals (Ex-Poisonblack, ex-The Abbey)
Sakke Paavola, guitar
Aksu Hanttu, drums (Ex-Entwine, Tuoni, S-Tool)
Mika "June" Junttila, bass (Mors Subita)
The Man-Eating Tree's new album called "Night Verses" will be released in the spring of 2025 via the German label Noble Demon. The first single off the album, “Seer”, will see the light of day in 2024.
The band will also be seen performing live again starting in 2025.
"This is not only the new gathering for old friends. This is a new musical direction, allowing the boundaries to be pushed wider and further. We are very much looking forward to presenting this to you."
