Larkos Larkou (Λάρκος Λάρκου) is a Cyprus-based composer, singer-songwriter, educator and multi-instrumentalist known for blending traditional Cypriot music with Greek and world influences. His work brings Cyprus' rich musical heritage to life, setting the poetry of celebrated Cypriot poets like Vassilis Michaelides and Dimitris Lipertis to music. As the founder of the "Kyprogeneia" project, he explores the fusion of traditional sounds with global genres, promoting instruments like the Cyprus laouto (lute) alongside others. His compositions have featured in over 40 theater and dance productions, showcasing his talent for storytelling and cultural innovation.
