Annabelle Sheehan is the former CEO of
Australian talent agency - RGM Artist Group. Prior to joining RGMAG,
Annabelle was the Head of Film and Television at Australia's peak
national production education centre - The Australian Film, Television
and Radio School(AFTRS) for six years. This followed on from her role
as Curriculum Manager at AFTRS where she lead the process for the move
from an undergraduate to a post graduate program.
Her career began in post-production including senior positions on seventeen cinema features such as The Piano (1993), Fearless (1993), The Portrait of a Lady (1996), Dead Calm (1989) and Mad Max 2 (1981). She won the AFI Best Achievement in Sound for The Piano and the US Motion Picture Sound Editors(MPSE) Guild Awards for The Piano and Dead Calm.
Annabelle holds a Master of Arts in Cinema Studies from New York University where she won both the New York University Fellowship and the New York University Paulette Goddard Scholarship. Her Bachelor of Arts in Communication was gained at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She also holds a Graduate Diploma in education (Merit listed) from UTS. She has presented numerous papers on the Australian film industry in Australia, the USA, China and Taiwan and her work has been published in a range of journals.
