“7th Heaven” actors Jeremy London and Kyle Searles reckon with co-star Stephen Collins’ sexual misconduct for the first time in an episode of ID Discovery’s upcoming series “Hollywood Demons” (via The Daily Beast). Collins starred as patriarch Eric Camden on all 11 seasons of the family drama series. He confessed in 2014 to prior sexual misconduct with three underage girls.
Searles, who appeared in the last four seasons of “7th Heaven ” as Mac, says in “Hollywood Demons” that he admired Collins during the making of the show, explaining: “He would drive to work in a beautiful Toyota Prius every single morning when the man was making enough money that he could have been driving up in a Bentley. He could have been decked-out, dressed in the nines, but he was wearing what Jay Leno typically wears, with the blue jeans shirt and jeans. I always felt like I want to be like that.

Howard Stern has built a reputation for getting celebrities to share secrets they often regret revealing. From shocking confessions to deeply personal admissions, The Howard Stern Show is known for getting stars to drop their guard in ways that other interviewers can’t quite pull off. The reason for this is the way Stern creates an environment where guests feel safe and comfortable enough to open up.

While other talk shows might feature awkward answers, Stern’s style goes deeper, with a subtle but powerful approach that keeps stars coming back for more.

Were I to ask you to think of your ideal 88-minute PSA for colonoscopies, chances are you would have only two answers: Either “Huh?!?” or “That time Katie Couric got a colonoscopy on Today.”
Thanks to Tony Benna’s new documentary, André Is an Idiot, there’s now a viable third possibility.
Funny, sad and uncomfortable in shifting proportions, the film is at once an urgent public service announcement and a documentary memento mori — not always pleasant to watch, but far more pleasant to watch than the subject matter would suggest, since you wouldn’t normally think “watching a sarcastic guy die” and “Sundance audience award winner” go hand-in-hand.
The “André” in question is André Ricciardi, a San Francisco man who begins the documentary by recounting an unfortunate story of teenage masturbation that left him with splinters in his penis.

CBS is once again testing out new ingredients for one of its oldest, most recognizable programs, “The CBS Evening News.”
On Monday, CBS News jettisoned many of the signature elements of the program — the ones that are also utilized by its main competitors, NBC News’ “NBC Nightly News” and ABC News’ “World News Tonight.” Gone are the rat-a-tat story counts and main focus on the anchor delivering the headlines. In their place: fewer stories told with more depth and enterprise; a focus on reporters in the field; and elements that nod to the network’s venerable newsmagazine, “60 Minutes.” And perhaps a little “PBS NewsHour” on the side?
John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois served as guides of a sort, taking viewers through a longer-than-expected segment about insurance challenges for California residents affected by the recent wildfires and an investigative piece that examined Chinese intelligence efforts to recruit members of the U.

Norah O’Donnell’s exit from “CBS Evening News” Thursday night wasn’t what viewers might have expected. And the successor program that CBS intends to air in its place on Monday will have a similar quality.
O’Donnell bid farewell to viewers of the long-running broadcast after a surprise taped cameo from Oprah Winfrey which celebrated the anchor and showed many highlights of her tenure. O’Donnell thanked the audience for welcoming “hard news with heart into your homes,” and was spotted being surrounded by colleagues and family as the show’s credits began to roll. Coming Monday: a completely overhauled edition of the program that is taking pains to break many visual ties to the days when Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather told the nation what was most important at the end of their day.
CBS will launch a new “Evening News” that relies on a group of co-anchors, rather than a single person.

Ken Jennings clearly loves his job but has faced moments of doubt along the way.
The 50-year-old Jeopardy! host took over for Alex Trebek following the TV legend’s passing in 2020.
Ken filled in as host beginning in Season 37, and by Season 40, he was named the sole permanent host of Jeopardy!
The former contestant admits there was a time when fans of the show weren’t so happy to see him standing at the podium.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Ken recalled his first episode as the host of Jeopardy! following Alex’s death.
“It was hard to get through because everybody there was very emotional, and I had to be the one talking through it, even though I probably knew him least of all 100 people on set, crew, and the staff,” he told the publication.
“It was very scary,” Ken confessed.

The Boys is known for its shocking gore and violence, but the show has also gradually gained a reputation for its memorable celebrity cameos. While there have been celebrity cameos since the first episode in The Boys season 1, they have become more common and noticeable as the series progressed, particularly during seasons 3 and 4. This creates further anticipation for the celebrity cameos that may occur in The Boys season 5, which is the show's final season.
While many celebrities have been part of The Boys' cast, including Simon Pegg and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, their appearances are not considered cameos as they play recurring characters who play pivotal roles in the series. A cameo requires the character to appear briefly or infrequently, even if it is just once, and to not have a major role. In this case, they are also played by a well-known celebrity, with the best being those that are...

Bruce Willis‘ wife, actress and model Emma Heming Willis, has opened up about her husband’s dementia diagnosis and why the early signs were difficult to detect. Speaking to veteran journalist Katie Couric for an interview with Town & Country on Tuesday, October 29, Emma revealed that Bruce’s initial signs of frontotemporal dementia (Ftd) were mistaken for the return of his childhood stutter. “Bruce has always had a stutter, but he has been good at covering it up,” Emma said, noting that it was because of his stutter that he was determined to pursue an acting career. “He went to college, and there was a theater teacher who said, ‘I’ve got something that’s going to help you.’ From that class, Bruce realized that he could memorize a script and be able to say it without stuttering. That’s what propelled him into acting,” she continued. Due to this medical history,...

It’s been 16 years since Amy Poehler was a cast member on Saturday Night Live, but that also might be the exact same amount of time that’s passed since the average SNL “fan” actually watched it.
From 2001 to 2008, Poehler carved a place for herself among the comedy greats with her powerful, high-energy performances on SNL, hosting the venerated “Weekend Update” segment and playing celebrities ranging from Hillary Clinton to Michael Jackson. A veteran of the Chicago improvisational comedy scene who co-founded the comedy group The Upright Citizens Brigade that turned into one of the most influential training and performance institutions in entertainment, Poehler had an immense impact on her collaborators at SNL, namely her recurring current partner Tina Fey. During her tenure, Poehler also left an equally strong impression on the SNL fandom, who considers her not only one of the show’s all-time best cast members, but one...

In a stark departure from its own corporate precedent and the usual circle-the-wagons approach of news divisions in crisis, top execs at CBS News parent Paramount Global have publicly disagreed this week.
At the center of the situation was an interview last week with author Ta-Nehisi Coates on CBS Mornings. While co-hosts Gayle King, Nate Burleson and Tony Dokoupil all sat in on the chat, Dokoupil drew criticism for dominating and pressing Coates on the section of his book, The Message, that criticizes Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. Dokoupil, who is Jewish, challenged Coates on whether he believed the state of Israel had a right to exist.
CBS News brass addressed the matter during a staff call Monday featuring Adrienne Roark, the president of editorial and newsgathering, and Wendy McMahon, president of CBS News and Stations. They told employees that Dokoupil’s questioning did not meet the news division’s “editorial standards.

Ryan Murphy first started noodling on a TV show about the Menendez brothers in the wake of the success of Netflix’s “Dahmer,” which he co-created alongside his longtime collaborator Ian Brennan.
“One of the things that you and I didn’t know, but soon found out, is that there are literally thousands and thousands and thousands of TikToks from young people, specifically young women, talking about the Lyle and Erik Menendez case,” Murphy noted onstage to Brennan at an NYC premiere screening September 12 of the latest installment of their Netflix true crime anthology, “Monster,” this time “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.”
“I was blown away,” by the social media response, Brennan confirmed, “because it seemed so current to them. I think one of the one of the things is we finally have a vernacular to think about and discuss sex abuse and mental health that did not exist at the time.

He was the face of Univision’s news division for decades, drawing comparisons to Walter Cronkite for his length of tenure and the trust he had with viewers.
However, as he himself noted in a 2021 column, the TV landscape of 1986 bears little resemblance to that of the present day.

Dennis Quaid, who starred in the 1998 film in which he played one of two twins brought together to love each other, has expressed his excitement for a revival of The Parent Trap, the new generation’s answer to the 1961 Disney classic.
He was concerned, though, about how a makeover could and ought to be carried out without his late co-star, the 45-year-old English actress Natasha Richardson, who passed away in 2009 after a skiing accident.
Quaid’s answer to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at the premiere of his new film Reagan showed just how large her loss still loomed in his heart. “That would be fantastic,” Quaid said of a Parent Trap revival, “But Natasha—how do we do it without Natasha?”

Meghan Markle claims to be a true feminist. She is always quick to refer to her position on equality and anti-sexism. However, is it real or another phony aspect of the Duchess?
When Meghan was in Britain, she allegedly bullied the palace staff, and most of the people who have come forward to reveal her abusive behavior were women.
Meghan Shared Her Soap Commercial Story In Columbia
Meghan’s “feminism” doesn’t appear to be about women uplifting women; it seems more about women uplifting Meghan. Everything Meghan does serves only Meghan.
The latest example of this was at a summit in Columbia where she, once again, told her go-to story about how, when she was eleven years old, she authored a letter to P&g, calling them out for a sexist soap commercial.
According to Meghan, they changed the advertisement because of her letter. She always tells this story...

After the network chose to replace Norah O’Donnell with two male anchors on “CBS Evening News,” Katie Couric openly attacked CBS News for being “out of touch.” Despite CBS’s recent efforts to advance women in senior jobs, decision-making authority still resides primarily in the hands of men, as Couric noted in an op-ed for The New York Times.
The irony in CBS’s reorganization—which saw the appointment of more women to managerial roles—was brought to Couric’s attention when the network chose two men, John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois, to anchor the evening newscast. Although she recognized the skill of both men, she thought it strange that during a period of profound social and political transformation, the hosts of CBS’s evening broadcast would be men.

Katie Couric Isn’t Impressed With CBS’ Decisions
Norah O’Donnell is being replaced with two men and Katie Couric couldn’t roll her eyes harder at the decision. She doesn’t have a problem with the new anchors themselves, and even says she’s a fan, but she’s criticizing the hiring of two men for evening news on broadcast TV in a male-dominated space, as Lester Holt already hosts NBC Nightly News and David Muir hosts ABC World News Tonight.
“It was more than a little disappointing to read that Ms. O’Donnell would be replaced by two men, John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois. Don’t get me wrong: I know, like and respect these two journalists.

Former anchor and managing editor of CBS Evening News Katie Couric is criticizing the network’s decision to replace outgoing host Norah O’Donnell with two men, Maurice DuBois and John Dickerson.
In her guest essay for The New York Times published Sunday, Couric made clear that her gripe wasn’t with DuBois and Dickerson in particular; rather, it was the fact that adding them to the roster makes broadcast TV’s evening news a male-dominated space, with Lester Holt hosting NBC Nightly News and David Muir emceeing ABC World News Tonight.
