One of the Best Canadian Shows

We can't imagine why there are so many harshly negative reviews of this show. It's easily one of the most entertaining Canadian shows currently streaming. Doug, his father and Dattu, Priya and his partner back in Canada are all really likable characters, characters I'd love to see more of. The show has a unique setting (India & Canada), good storyline and entertaining lead and supporting cast. Ignore the naysayers and watch The Indian Detective.

Russell Peters is the son of two immigrant parents. He wanted to be a break dancer when he was 16. His father worked in a chicken plant and mother worked at Kmart. His parents are from India but grew up in Canada. He has one brother.

Goofs
Hamza Haq Hamza Haq plays both twins, Gopal and Amal Chandekar. While filming, the actor had a black mark on his thumbnail that is visible on both characters.
