In casting the show, the producers required that any cook chosen to be a genuine contestant must also be capable of playing the Rat. Furthermore, the contestant who was the Rat wasn't informed that they'd been chosen as such until the day before their episode was taped, meaning the Rat always had to think on their feet.

Great Show!

I started watching this show last week and I think it's great!

The host Natasha is funny, you have to understand her sense of humor though. Chef Ludo does a great job speaking with the other chefs and eating their dishes.

I want to say this show is an acquired taste but honestly I feel like anyone can get into it. It mixes a cooking show and a mystery, trying to see what you can spot throughout the episode. My friend and I actually made our own chart where we guess who the rat is once in the beginning, after the first challenge, and right before the contestants put their knives down. We do this for every episode and it just adds to the fun!

Im interested to see how they keep this up in future episode and add more twists!
