Exclusive: Natasha Leggero has signed with Linden Entertainment.

Leggero was recently seen starring in Bill Burr’s Old Dads and Chelsea Peretti’s First Time Female Director. She also starred in Broke for CBS and hosted Rat In The Kitchen alongside Celebrity Chef Ludo Lefebvre. Additionally, alongside husband and fellow comedian Moshe Kasher, Leggero toured and released The Honeymoon Stand Up Special on Netflix. The success of this special has also led to their ongoing The Endless Honeymoon Podcast.

Leggero is known for creating, executive producing, and starring in the Comedy Central hit show Another Period with fellow comedian Riki Lindhome. Other credits include the Nicholas Stoller’s Neighbors; Luke Greenfield’s Let’s Be Cops; Steven Brill’s The Do-Over; Emmy nominated series Burning Love; ABC’s Suburgatory and Modern Family; Comedy Central’s Key and Peeleand Comedy Bang Bang; Fox’s Mulaney; and Showtime’s Dice.

Hulu is jumping into the competition-series game with a series that will put people in a house and pit them against one another for a big cash prize.

Big Brother? Nope. The Traitors? Also no. The Disney-run streamer has ordered Got to Get Out, a competition show/”social experiment” with echoes of the prisoner’s dilemma — the thought experiment where people can work together for mutual benefit or go solo for a potentially greater reward. The show comes from creator Glenn Hugill and the U.K. arm of Jimmy Kimmel and Brent Montgomery’s company, Wheelhouse. A premiere date hasn’t been set.

Actor Mantra, who is known for his comic endeavours, has said that he is grateful to the makers of his short film ‘Rat In The Kitchen’ for allowing him to showcase his potential. Mantra was interacting with the media at the Cine Mumble film festival in Mumbai, where ‘Rat in the Kitchen’ was screened to a houseful audience. Produced by Afroz and Purvi Khan and directed by Arkish Aftab, the film’s cast includes Mantra and Aishwarya Desai, and revolves around a true incident.

Channel 4 is developing a version of The Food Network’s sabotage cooking show Cutthroat Kitchen.

According to The Sun, the UK broadcaster is working with Warner Bros.-owned First Dates indie Twenty Twenty on a version of the show that ran for 15 seasons in the U.S. A Channel 4 insider said the show is still in the development stage and has not been officially greenlit.

Hosted by Alton Brown, Cutthroat Kitchen ran in the U.S. for 15 seasons and nearly 200 episodes across four years on the Food Network. It features four chefs competing in a three-round elimination cooking competition with a twist – they are given $25,000 at the start and face auctions in which they can purchase opportunities to ‘sabotage’ one another. The last person standing keeps whatever money they have not spent in the auctions.

The cable network has cancelled Rat in the Kitchen, a twist on a traditional cooking competition show hosted by French chef Ludo Lefebvre and comedian Natasha Leggero, after one season, our sister site Deadline reports. The series premiered in March 2022.

Leopoldo Roberto Garcia Pelaez Benitez, the Mexican comedian known as Polo Polo, died today in Mexico City. He was 78.

The comedian’s son Paul García confirmed the news to Ventaneando where he said that his father had died in his home at about 5:15 a.m. (local México City time). García said his father had been suffering from vascular dementia following multiple strokes.

TBS has ended the show, which has been described as a cross between The Masked Singer and Hell’s Kitchen, after one season. It premiered in March 2022.

Kathleen Finch, Chairman and Chief Content Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery’s U.S. Networks Group, revealed the show had been canceled during her Deadline-moderated keynote session at Realscreen in Austin, Texas.

With its list of new releases for July 2022, HBO Max is stepping up its TV game. Not that any entity associated with “It’s Not TV, It’s HBO” would ever not bring the televised goods, but the small screen is of particular consequence this month.

The middle of July is jam-packed with TV goodies like docuseries The Anarchists (July 10), rescued animated project Tuca & Bertie season 3 (July 11), and the latest Nathan Fielder creation The Rehearsal (July 15). The real heavy hitter arrives later on though. Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin premieres on July 28 and will introduce the next generation of the Pll franchise. It doesn’t have a release date yet but July will also host season 3 of the delightful Harley Quinn at some point.

HBO Max’s movie offerings aren’t as deep this month. The Bob’s Burgers Movie (July 12) and We Met In Virtual Reality (July 27) are really the only originals of note.

Rat in the Kitchen has proven to be one of the most unique cooking competition series, and Thursday's new episode looks like another treat.

In the Rat King Challenge, all six chefs are tied together while they make 4 complete dishes in 40 minutes.

Each dish is worth 5,000 totaling 20,000.

On Thursday the annual television festival revealed the lineup, with Starz’s new drama Becoming Elizabeth. set to get things started on May 5. Running from May 5 to 11, SeriesFest: Season will return to Denver, Colorado for six days of screenings, panels, workshops, sneak peeks and television premieres.

The Becoming Elizabeth screening will be followed by a panel from series executive producer Anya Reiss and stars Alicia von Rittberg and Jamie Blackley. Simon Thomas, veteran ITV America unscripted and international producer, has been named president of ITV Entertainment and will also serve as ITV America’s head of international programming.

Thomas, previously executive VP of current programming, west coast, for ITV America, has executive produced all U.S. seasons of “Love Island,” as well as new series “My Mom, Your Dad” and the upcoming “Rat in the Kitchen.” Earlier, he worked on “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” for U.K. broadcaster ITV, the original U.K. version of “Love Island,” as well as “Big Brother” and “Beauty and the Geek” for Australia’s Network 10 and Channel 7, respectively.

In his new role, reporting into ITV America chief creative officer David Eilenberg, Thomas will run ITV Entertainment’s development and production slate of original series and international formats and will also oversee production of any ITV America series sold to U.

ITV America has had success adapting British formats in the U.S. including CBS’ Love Island, ABC’s The Chase and Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen.

It is now looking to add more global formats to this list with the promotion of Love Island exec producer Simon Thomas.

Thomas has been named President of ITV Entertainment – one of the company’s six production banners – as well as Head of International Programming at ITV America.
