Trey Rentz is a Huntsville, Alabama, native with a passion for sports, fan engagement, and creating unforgettable game day experiences. A graduate of The University of Alabama, Trey earned his B.A. in Public Relations with a concentration in Sports & Entertainment. His journey in sports began on the baseball field, where he played from tee-ball until 18, before transitioning behind the scenes. He got his start working in sports as an Audio/Marketing Student Assistant for Alabama Softball during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, where he contributed to in-game music, sound production, marketing initiatives, and the overall brand of Alabama Softball.
Before joining the Midland RockHounds, Trey worked with Huntsville City FC as the Game Presentation Intern, where he played a key role in executing matchday operations, scripting game presentations, and enhancing the fan experience. Now, as the Manager of Fan Experience for the RockHounds, he oversees all aspects of game production and fan engagement, ensuring every night at the ballpark is unforgettable.
When he's not at the ballpark, Trey enjoys spending time with his dog, Dale, making and spending time with friends and family, cooking, traveling, listening to music, songwriting, journaling, working out, watching sports and cheering on the Tide. Fun facts: his favorite color is blue, his lucky number is 13, and he doesn’t like cake (yes, really).
Bringing a little Southern charm out to West Texas, Trey is dedicated to creating an exciting and immersive atmosphere at the ballpark, making every game an electric experience for the RockHounds fans.
