Really want a steelbook of this film, but that art is not setting the world afire. Not sure it’s worth the cost and trouble of importing.

It sure would have been nice if they offered it here in the US.

I am genuinely surprised Best Buy won't sell this steelbook over here.

This is like The Last Duel all over again. That never got a steelbook stateside as far as I recall.

Pre-ordered. Apparently the art is by artist Matt Ferguson whose done several Steelbook designs previously for the U.K. market. Not sure if his designs have been used for releases in other countries though but, hey, why not. For me this is a stunner.

Wondering if this has to do with Best Buy moving away from physical media entirely in 2024.

Glad this steelbook is at least getting printed though, even if it’ll cost a bit more than I’d like due to importing. Happy to support the film regardless, as it’s incredible and I want Disney to not dwell on its box office performance and see what it actually looks like despite a budget under $100M, and then compare that to many $200M+ Marvel movies and Disney remakes looking offensively ugly and televisual. (Though knowing Disney, they absolutely will not learn the right lessons from all of this.)

I hope that's the case and we get a miraculous last-minute announcement for the US, but all signs point to this one being a "no show" here.

Typically, when the studio puts out the initial press release, they list all the various editions including steelbooks, if there are any.

Sadly, this was not the case with The Creator. There are only listings for the blu ray and the 4K blu ray. And with the film's home video release being less than a month away, if there was going to be any US steelbook, I feel like we would know by now.

I was originally going to pass on this movie, but everyone has been raving about what an amazing sci-fi movie this is.

A lot of people were even surprised this got a physical release at all because of how it did at the box office. But it's at least getting a 4k slip and this will probably be the only 4k steelbook we see of this movie, maybe ever. I wouldn't hesitate if you like this movie.

Just for the high-end 4k visuals alone, I decided to pick this up from Amazon.UK
