Good to hear Moana 2 had a good audience who no doubt enjoyed the first film, which is good. I will check out Moana 2 on video, and while I hope Moana 3 has a new villain and location for them to visit, I do understand that being out at sea in the middle of the vast ocean really is the essence of the franchise it seems. Just that in terms of scenery, the ocean with no land in sight can be a bit plain as a background. I'm sure the coconut minions will return in part 3 too.

So many sequels in the last 10 years, show Disney (and Dreamworks, Illumination, etc.) is really relying on an established audience more than ever these days, with less chances taken on new risks. When is Pxiar's Toy Story 5 being released in theaters?

Moana 2 literally just came out, and Moana 3 is "already in the works"? Take some time to smell the roses first. Verbiage like that is a bit hyperbolic. It doesn't take a genius to figure out after having the biggest Thanksgiving weekend ever at the box office, that there may be consideration for a third movie. But enjoy the success first. Can't they wait to report on Moana 3 when there's something actually substantial to report on?

It's like winning the Superbowl, and the first thing people say is, "and they're gonna win it again next year." Just take the moment to celebrate that you just won the Superbowl. Pop some bottles, and enjoy the moment. Let's at least wait until spring training before we start talking about the regular season, let alone the Superbowl.

Right now, it's nothing more than an idea, a concept, at this point. But they haven't started production yet. Are these entertainment frothing at the mouth to literally report anything? They're reporting on concepts now? Let's give Moana 2 some time to marinate. A lot of audiences still haven't even seen it yet. They haven't even inked deals with Dwayne Johnson and Auliʻi Cravalho yet. They haven't even put down the money for a script yet, let alone even begin production. This could still be several years away for all we know. Moana 2 took 8 years. Not saying Moana 3 will take 8 years. But it might.

I miss back in the day, when there was actually substantial to report on. With concrete evidence, like a start date for production. And not these clickbait, lets report on anything before we have anything. Anybody with more than 2 brain cells to rub together can assume that they're thinking about doing a Moana 3, 4, 5 & 6. But why report on the idea of a Moana 6, decades before it comes out?
