Seemingly oblivious to Tesla's worldwide meltdown, Stuff is running a piece with the headline, "Tesla ‘working pretty hard’ to sell Cybertruck Down Under".

Yeah, right. In Australia, Tesla sales for January are down 72%. By comparison, BYD sales have doubled in 12 months.

Besides, the Cybertruck is unlikely to conform to regulations in either Australia or New Zealand, same as the UK.

It's too big, it's ugly and it smells of Musk.

I think there's a typo in that article:
> But it seems gears might be turning in the push to bring the Cybertruck to Australasia in right-hand drive form <
I do believe that should be
"But it seems gears might be turning in the push to bring the Cybertruck to Australasia with extended right-hand drive form"

Ahhhhhh. It took me a while to get the reference. Here's one of the London tube ads which includes the extended RHD.

Ooh, have Stuff dispensed with their "you must sign in if you want to read the whole story and so we can sell your data" #enshittification which they recently introduced?

They are so ashamed of it that they haven't explained it.

Too many people closing tabs and finding the story elsewhere? Either that or they're only applying it to certain random pages.
