This is what 15 inches/38 cm of powder looks like in Arkansas. Currently dealing with less snow today, but still looking out onto a wintry wonderland.

The latest snowfall forecast has been trending upwards over the past 24 hours reflecting the potential for snowfall to begin earlier than previously forecast. Snow accumulations in the Northwest Arkansas metro area may now range from 4-8", with locally higher amounts to 12" in the Ouachita Mountains in Oklahoma extending into Arkansas. This is a significant winter event for this part of the country.
Confirmed tornado in far northeast Oklahoma working its way towards NW Arkansas over the next hour. KNWA is live with local coverage.
