Time as passed quiet a bit since my last post.
Lately I been endeavouring shooting black and white in my local forest. It enable me to be more creative and shoot in condition I would probably have disregarded before. Like on the following where it is midday with no fog ;)

The image shows a tree with damaged bark. There are two vertical areas where the bark has been removed or damaged. The upper area appears to have a repetitive pattern, possibly caused by an insect or animal, or perhaps from a tool. The lower area is a larger, irregular wound. Both areas expose the inner wood of the tree. Surrounding the tree are green leaves and branches.

Monsters have babies too. Baby monsters are even harder to find than the elusive "baby" pigeon. Very few folks can say that they've seen them, let alone created their portraits. I have been lucky. Against a brilliant blue sky, with just a hint of mountains in the distance, a teeny baby monster trembles with uncertainty on its mothers scaly leg, grasping her long sharp claw for balance. It nervously stares (at me) with large bulging eyes, while the other hand is clamped firmly in its mouth. Bright scales of chartreuse, vivid orange and crimson red cover the body of this wee creature, accompanied by slender candy-cane-like curved horns atop its bald green head. I find it endearingly adorable. NOTE: This description created especially for my lovely blind friend, Georgiana. :-)

Walking along a ridge crest descending a well-cleared trail through an overgrown meadow. There are young trees, tall lush green grass and leafy shrubs taller than a man. Looking through a break in the trees (oak, pine, and I'm not sure what is on the right, maybe ash?) to a large wetland area full of grasses. The green carpet of long grasses and plants stretches out for a long ways until the sparkly blue water beyond - still with springs of green in it due to its shallow nature. The other side fades into the distance, but you can tell there are grasses there too, before a small rise in landscape has more forest beyond. The sky is a bit overexposed but you can tell it is a bright blue sky day with puffy white clouds that are almost cartoon like in their cotton ball perfection.
