- 2 In the Netherlands: #Detox and #MakeSocialsSocialAgain with great campaigns
- 1 in France: with #HelloQuitX and their app to help people find alternatives on Mastodon or BlueSky
- 1 in Spain: #juntas involving 120 civil society organizations
- 1 in Italy: lots of energy from Ban X in Europe
I miss the UK and Poland.

Ik ben nooit echt actief geweest op sociale media. Toch voelde ik steeds meer de behoefte om zichtbaar te zijn op Mastodon. Niet zozeer om zelf veel de wereld in te toeteren, maar vooral om duidelijk te maken waar ik voor sta.
Een decentraal netwerk waar de macht en controle bij de gebruiker en de gemeenschap liggen in plaats van bij grote techbedrijven. Technologie die respect toont voor je privacy, tijd en aandacht, zonder manipulatieve algoritmes of ontwerppatronen.
In my impression, one notable difference in the current X-odus compared to 2022 is the significantly higher number of profiles linked to social movements. This shift seems tied to the excellent work being done by initiatives like #helloquitx (France), #juntas (Spain), and #ByeByeElon (Germany). It's also fueled by the growing European discontent with the influence of a dangerous oligarch.
