Midnight Project.
Worked on fully refurbishing my Helios 44-2 and adding some mods. Finished the focus mechanic tonight—disassembled, cleaned it, added quality lubricants.
Overall, great fun! A bit of frustration came from the original screws—broke 2, had to drill 1. (Soviet screws seem to be made of clay)
Took a while to figure out the mount play; in the end, I found it relies on high-dampening grease—missing in its original state.
