I'm a guy with a heart for technology and buidling solutions that make a difference. I have a strong foundation in many programming languages and frameworks, and I am always eager to learn more. My goal is to create innovative solutions that solve real-world problems.
Fun fact, my first two years in college were in the medical field, but I quickly realized that my true passion lies in technology. Despite all the negative commentary from the current field, I made the leap into software engineering and haven't looked back since. I love the challenge of solving complex problems and the satisfaction of creating something from scratch, not going to let a little chatter stop me.
- 2022: Became proficient in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
- 2023: Expanded my skill set with C/C++, Python, and database management using MongoDB, MySQL, and MariaDB.
- 2024: Learned new Web Development technologies like Next.js and Vue.js, as well as exploring AI integration with Python and JavaScript.
- 2025: Deepening my knowledge of SSR (Server-Side Rendering), AI integration, and exploring new languages like Zig.
Being a software engineer is just one piece of the puzzle. Here are a few other important pieces:
- 📖Faith: Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and I strive to live my life in a way that reflects my beliefs.
- 👨👩👧👦Family: I cherish my family and friends, and I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a fulfilling life.
- 🎮Gaming: I love playing games like Marvel Rivals. These says mostly just playing to stay connected with friends, but I also enjoy the challenge of competitive gaming.
- ⛩️Anime: I can't list them all, but who doens't love JJK and Demon Slayer?
- 💬Languages: I'm currently, and slowly learning Japanese. I believe that language is a powerful tool for connecting with others and understanding different cultures.
- 🏋️♂️Fitness: I enjoy working out and staying active. I believe that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind.
A lot of people ask me, "Ethan, why don't you have social media?" Well, I do have a few accounts, but I don’t use them much. I prefer to keep my online presence low-key.
