Describe the bug
Setting showBranches to false does not hide branch names in the live editor, nor in the generated .png/.svg

To Reproduce
Link to Live Editor
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open the Live Editor
  2. Copy/paste the example from the "hiding branch name and lines" section of the docs into the editor
  3. Notice that branch names and lines are still shown
  4. Export an svg / png
  5. Notice that branch names and lines are shown in the exported image

Expected behavior
The branch names and lines should be hidden in the editor and in the generated images

Thank you for reporting this issue!

I’ve submitted a fix in [PR #6554] which ensures that showBranches: false now properly hides both the branch lines and branch labels in GitGraph diagrams.
