Arctic Fox is a custom desktop system project that integrates open-source bootloading technology with Apple's macOS development principles. It is tailored for power users and enthusiasts, re-engineering standard PC hardware to enable macOS support through a carefully selected set of kernel extensions (kexts), UEFI drivers, and scripts. Many of these components are developed or maintained using Apple's integrated development environment (IDE), Xcode.
