Kaimana Mini LED Driver Controller

This is a controller for Kaimana Mini LED Driver and Kaimana J2 RGB LED.

Requirements

  • Arduino 1.8.3 and later
    • I used this version when I wrote code and I don't have test with older versions.

Features

  • LED color setting

Tourney mode

Tourney mode is to off all LEDs.

How to enable/disable Tourney mode

Press and hold the START/OPTIONS button at least 3 seconds, then Tourney mode is enabled/disabled and also all LEDs are turned on for about 3 seconds.

Invert mode

In Invert mode, all LEDs are on and pressing a button turns them off. To enable Invert mode, press and hold the START/OPTIONS button and UP at least 3 seconds in Tourney mode.

LED/button mappings

To enter setting mode, press and hold the HOME/PS/XB button at least 3 seconds when Tourney mode is disabled. All LEDs are turned on if it is in selection mode of mapping mode. To set mapping for each LED/button correctly, you need to do the following process.

  1. Press any button
  2. Press lit up button

Recurse this process for all buttons until pressed button and lit up button has been matched. After finishing to mapped correctly, press and hold the HOME/PS/XB button to leave this mode.

Note that all LED settings (mappings/colors) will be reset when entering this mode.

LED colors

To enter setting mode, press and hold the SELECT/SHARE/BACK button at least 3 seconds when Tourney mode is disabled. All LEDs are turned on if it is in selection mode of setting mode. In that state, press a button you want to set a color of LED.

If you are selecting the button that is move buttons(LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN and UP), attack buttons become setting buttons. If you are selecting the button that is attack buttons(P and K buttons), move buttons become setting buttons.

  LEFT P1 or K1 Increase 15 Red color value
  DOWN P2 or K2 Increase 15 Green color value
  RIGHT P3 or K3 Increase 15 Blue color value
  START/OPTIONS START/OPTIONS Set color and return to selection mode
  SELECT/SHARE/BACK SELECT/SHARE/BACK Reset color

The range of the RGB value is from 0 to 255. if you increase RGB value over 255, it will be started from 0 again. After finishing to set all LED colors you want, return to selection mode, then press and hold the SELECT/SHARE/BACK button at least 3 seconds to save LED colors you set.
