Samskara is a Ghost theme based on Bootstrap 4. Inspiration was taken from many WordPress themes to create this theme. While there are many Ghost themes found on the internet which follow the grid layout, Samskara provides a traditional blog layout with a sidebar and a main section. The sidebar can be configured with different cards by using JavaScript. Please send me a link at vasanthdevelopers@gmail.com of your Ghost blog if you are using my theme. That brings smile to me!
Method 1: (Recommended)
Please click the below link to download the latest version of Samskara Ghost theme. Once the file has been downloaded. Head over to your website's Ghost Admin area, and click on Design in the side bar. And, under the Themes section click on the upload button and drag the downloaded .zip file and click on Activate Now. That's it!
Method 2: (The Git Way)
If you are familiar with Git, then you can simply clone this git repository by running the following command inside the themes folder of your Ghost instance.
git clone --single-branch --branch "mainline" https://github.com/vasanthdeveloper/samskara.git "samskara"
This would create a new folder in the themes directory. Now, restart the Ghost instance once and apply the theme on your website's Ghost Admin area.
A frequently updated static site generated from Ghost running the Samskara theme is available for preview purposes. By clicking on the link below, you will be taken to the preview site.
- Bootstrap 4 (Main style sheet, Slightly modified)
- Google Fonts (Typography fonts)
- FontAwesome (For rendering icons)
- JQuery Lazy (For lazy loading images, so theme loads quickly)
