This PR updates the Release Checklist to clarify milestone management practices across different release types (standard releases, release candidates, and pre-releases).

Changes

  • Clarify that standard releases use a dedicated milestone named after the release version
  • Add milestone management instructions for release candidates (RCs)
  • Specify that RCs use the milestone of their target standard release
  • 8000 Added note that milestone tracking is optional for pre-releases
