The Anti-Doomscroller extension allows you to set a time limit on how long you want to be on social media. Then, it automatically shows you videos within your time limit. For the people who watch halfway through, you can click on multiple videos and watch as many videos as you want within the limit. However, the further along in your break, the fewer videos become available. Don't worry; you can always finish a video that you are currently watching.
NOTE: This project is optimized for Firefox. It may not work as intended on chromium-based browsers.

For more information about our extenstion itself click the help button below the timer.
1: Enter a timer in a format of HH:MM:SS form
2: Click the play button the start the timer
3: Click to stop the timer or resume the timer
4: Remaining Time display
Once the time limit is set, the extension filters out videos exceeding the remaining time. For videos that fit within this limit, a pie chart illustrates the proportion of time each video will consume relative to the total available.
