An attempt to replicate and extend the functionality of
rgb_frame.sh
in a Python script.The
fetch_goes_image
script now takes similar arguments torgb_frame
but will also attempt to figure out the time of the last frame of 8000 a given type and fetch it, as well as having options to fetch GOES-17 images, and keep intermediate (working) files.Unlike
rgb_frame
,fetch_goes_image
makes the output filename optional - if not given, it uses the same name format as the 'rgb' image, fe '20183421930.tif'.I still haven't managed to migrate the
gdalwarp
,rio stack
, orconvert
steps to Python.
