Command-line options for wsddOPTIONS="-4 -i eth0 -i eth1 -w WORKGROUP" #\fB-n \fIHOSTNAME\fR, \fB--hostname \fIHOSTNAME\fR I am working with ClearOS ver 7.7.2 I installed wsdd, It put the top two lines in Wsdd ./etc/sysconfig and detected host clearOS machine name but not the Windows Networking (Samba) which normally is a different host name, it looks like I should Put it in something like this I was able to get it working right by adding -n HOSTNAME which is the netbios name in the smb,config file, replacing the command-line options for wsdd. Thank You |

wsdd does not interact with samba directly. If the name that is configured in Samba should be used, then whoever launches wsdd must pass that hostname to wsdd...
