@thschue Could you ensure the adopters and project community members are informed of the change in repos? I believe they are but we want to verify. @mrbobbytables Could you facilitate the necessary changes to CNCF tools and processes to point to the new repo? |

Today, a company reached out to me which is potentially interested to get involved in keptn and they are currently pointing out options for contributing to the project. Would it be ok for you to put the vote on hold for 1-2 weeks to find out if this could be an option? |

Concern
The major maintaining company has stepped back from the project, and Keptn is currently in maintenance mode. Its most recent contributions have been limited to bug fixes and dependency updates.
Most maintainers are inactive, and there is no clear path forward. We have contacted potential companies and maintainers to take over the project, but these efforts have not been successful. As a result, the Keptn Governance Committee is considering archiving the project.
