The reason I’m sending this is I want to make a proper Guix service, by the way. It should, ideally, have configuration that is both immutable (identified by hash) and doesn’t require rebuilding the package. But to me it seems really obvious that this can be necessary for countless other setups, too. |

This is currently hardcoded, which is inflexible and prevents having configuration files for specific use cases.
