This release includes all the corrections and improvements requested during the Google Fonts review process.

– Improved glyph construction and outline consistency
– Updated OpenType features (ccmp, kern, etc.)
– Resolved soft-dotted character handling and diacritic combinations
– Cleaned glyph set: no unreachable glyphs, deprecated or unused forms
– Cyrillic character set updated and completed
– FontBakery checks passed successfully
– File structure aligned with Google Fonts standards

This release marks the completion of version 2.1 of Nata Sans. This version has been carefully revised to meet the Google Fonts onboarding requirements.

calt, liga, ss01, locl, frac, tnum, onum, sups, and more We’re releasing Nata Sans v1.0.0, a variable typeface designed with clarity, balance and strong typographic support in mind. This version has been carefully revised to meet the Google Fonts onboarding requirements.
– 🎚 Variable font with one axis: wght (100–900)
– 📦 Includes 9 predefined instances: Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, Bold, ExtraBold, Black
– 📐 1022 glyphs designed across four masters

  • 💬 Emoji ligatures via Markdown-style text sequences: You can now type words between colons —like 😄 or 😉— and they will automatically turn into expressive ligature glyphs. This playful feature is great for subversive headlines, UI design, or typographic experiments.
