It turns out the ff macro code actually is a repeat command, but I didn't realize during my first test because I was trying it in an otherwise empty macro, so there was nothing to repeat. The next two bytes are used to specify the count, and it repeats everything before the repeat line. If multiple repeats are used in a macro, it'll glitch out and repeat forever.
