pip install -r requirements.txtThe goal is to find the Longest Common Subsequence (LCS) between two given words. The LCS is the longest sequence of characters that appears in both words in the same order but not necessarily consecutively.
- Run the Game
- Open a terminal or command prompt.
- Navigate to the game directory.
- Run the following command:
python main.py
- Main Menu
- Use the Up/Down arrow keys to navigate.
- Press Enter to select an option:
- Start Game → Begin a new game.
- Tutorial → Learn how to play with a step-by-step guide.
- Quit → Exit the game.
- Two words will be displayed on the screen.
- Your task is to find and type a valid LCS.
- Type the common subsequence using your keyboard.
- The entered sequence will be displayed in real time.
- Press Enter to submit:
- ✅ Correct sequence → Earn points and progress to the next level.
- ❌ Incorrect sequence → A shake effect and sound indicate a wrong answer.
- Backspace → Delete the last character.
- Spacebar → Reveal the correct LCS (highlighted for 3 seconds).
- Escape → Quit the game and return to the main menu.
- Scoring: Each correct character in the LCS earns 10 points.
- Leve 7876 l Progression: Advancing to the next level presents a new word pair.
The tutorial provides a step-by-step guide with examples to help new players understand the LCS concept.

If you encounter errors such as "pygame.mixer can't find sound" or "mixer not initialized" or "pygame.error:dsp : No such audio device", you can fix it by installing the required SDL2 mixer package:
sudo apt-get install libsdl2-mixer-2.0-0If Windows Defender blocks the .exe file from opening, try the following:
- Right-click the .exe file and select Run as Administrator.
- If a warning appears, click More info.
- Click Run anyway to proceed.
